Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Dimitar Berbatov believes Harry Kane has been 'naive' in his approach to leave the club this summer, but understands his frustrations.
Kane was a late arrival back from pre-season, and as a result of missing training sessions has already been unavailable for Tottenham's first game of the season in the 1-0 win over Manchester City.
The striker has also been left behind for Spurs' trip to Pacos Ferreira in the Europa Conference League in Portugal on Thursday, fuelling more speculation over a proposed £150m move to City having requested to leave north London late last season.
