Dele Alli beware! Crossing the line with Jose Mourinho rarely ends well... his feud with Iker Casillas started a war at Real Madrid, he gave Paul Pogba a dressing down at Carrington while Samuel Eto'o found himself out of Chelsea after mocking his manager

Dele Alli has become used to seeing the fourth official's board this season. As he trudged towards the touchline after being substituted yet again in Tottenham's win over Stoke, it was clear he had no intention of hiding his frustrations.

Having given the ball away leading up to Stoke's equaliser in the Carabao Cup quarter-final, Jose Mourinho had seen enough - with the score 1-1 at the time. He berated the midfielder, who raised his arms in the air before sulking in the stands.

After the game, which Spurs went on to win 3-1 to book their place in the last four, Mourinho said Alli 'created problems for his own team' after his failed flick during a counter attack led to Stoke having one of their own, which Jordan Thompson duly finished off.
