Countdown and Sky Sports presenter Rachel Riley has been met with a tirade of abuse from livid Tottenham fans after they say she accused their team of 'bottling' their chances for the Premier League title.
In yesterday's Friday Night Football Riley was heard saying 'It's de ja vu for Spurs isn't it, a proper bottle job'.
She was commenting on the way Spurs' bid for the title after winning nine matches in a row was all but ended by their shock 1-0 loss to West Ham.
But the presenter has since denied that she made the comment.
