Club recreates famous all-staff photographs

Back in 1951, manager Arthur Rowe (below, far left) stood proudly on the pitch with the squad that had clinched the Club's first top flight championship in the old First Division in 1950-51, securing back-to-back titles after winning the old Second Division in 1949-50.

There are 34 players of 67 full-time staff in the photograph, some of the all-time greats of the Club including, of course, 'Mr Tottenham', Bill Nicholson, who would follow this success as a player with even more as our most successful manager.

Bill is central in this 1951 photograph, standing in front of Alf Ramsey, who would of course lead England to their one and, so far, only World Cup win in 1966.
