Christian joined Ajax in 2008, Jan was in the Dutch club’s Academy in 2003. The pair won successive Eredivisie titles in 2010-11 and 2011-12 and as Jan switched to Spurs, Christian completed the hat-trick in 2012-13 before joining the defender in N17.
Both excelled as we finished in the Premier League in 2017-18. Both named in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year, Jan played in 49 of our 55 games in all competitions, 36 in the Premier League, while Christian featured in 47 overall and 37 in the top flight.
Christian scored 14 goals and created 10 assists in the Premier League – only the third Spur to hit double figures for both behind Jurgen Klinsmann (1994-95) and Emmanuel Adebayor (2011-12).
