Carabao Cup final's ban on clinically extremely vulnerable fans is 'direct discrimination towards the disabled', say Tottenham supporters' group... and call on Government to change their 'outdated broad-brush' rules for the trial return of crowds

A Spurs disabled fan group has hit out at the decision to exclude clinically extremely vulnerable fans from the Carabao Cup final, stating that it is 'direct discrimination' to prohibit those supporters from attending the showpiece event.

It was confirmed last week that the Wembley final will act as an official pilot event with fans in attendance as part of the UK Government's road map out of lockdown.

Tottenham and Manchester City have each been allocated 2,000 tickets for the game on April 25 but, as final ticket details emerged on Tuesday, the rules stated no under-18s, pregnant women, extremely vulnerable people or people living with someone who is clinically extremely vulnerable will be allowed to attend.
