Thomas Frank is shaping up as a leading candidate to replace Ange Postecoglou if Tottenham sack the head coach who brought home their first trophy for 17 years.

Postecoglou, who celebrated two years in the job on Friday, has two more years to run on his contract, but his future has been in doubt for weeks and remained uncertain despite winning the Europa League and clinching a place in next season’s Champions League.
