Gareth Bale stated a consortium led by the Wales legend has submitted a "brand new offer" to buy Cardiff City.
The former Southampton, Tottenham Hotspur, Real Madrid and Los Angeles man is fronting a group of investors who are seeking to purchase his home club.
It was confirmed in June that the group had formally approached the Bluebirds, with reports suggesting a £40m offer was made, and Bale says club owner Vincent Tan now has a fresh proposal to consider.
"It's exciting news, we have a brand new offer on the table, it's recently just gone in," he said on Front Office Sports Today.
