Arsenal have removed a message appearing on their online club shop, which appeared to troll rival Tottenham over their lack of silverware.
When viewing the user's basket, a message read: 'Your basket is empty as Tottenham's trophy cabinet', much to the surprise and delight of Arsenal fans.
The message has now been removed, however Arsenal fans enjoyed the joke while it lasted.
The hidden message quickly became well known on social media, after one Twitter user tweeted out a screenshot of the website.
However Arsenal were quite to delete the online prompt, after releasing a statement saying: 'This was posted to the site in error without appropriate checks and approvals and is being removed as quickly as possible.
