Angel Di Maria’s family caught up in ‘extremely violent’ robbery at their home in Paris after ex-Manchester United star - who was also targeted by thugs in England in 2015 - was rushed off by Mauricio Pochettino after he heard the news

Angel Di Maria was taken off during Paris Saint-Germain's 2-1 loss to Nantes after an 'extremely violent robbery' at his family home in the French capital.

PSG sporting director Leonardo was seen on his phone, and after a brief discussion with manager Mauricio Pochettino, Di Maria was replaced by Leandro Parades after 62 minutes.

The former Tottenham manager then had a word in the ear of his star player before walking with him towards the dressing room, before later coming back out by himself.
