Was it the GTA-based folks who forked over so-called Tier One prices for the assumed privilege of seeing Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors at Scotiabank Arena on Saturday night only to find out Curry, who missed the game in the name of rest, likely never intended to set foot on this side of the U.S.-Canada border?
Or will it turn out to be the fans who have spent big dollars for what has long been billed as the feature matchup of the NBA’s Christmas Day slate, the first on-court meeting between LeBron James and Kevin Durant since 2018?
