Injuries are a fact of life in the NBA. Even so, the Milwaukee Bucks have good reason to be cursing their misfortune. Khris Middleton, their valuable swingman, has been sidelined for at least six months with a torn hamstring suffered in a pre-season workout.
I forecasted the Bucks to be on the fringes of the playoff chase prior to Middleton’s loss. Unless they are able to get someone who can help from Game 1, they are going to the lottery, again.
Well-connected reporters are saying Bucks’ management is burning up the phone lines looking for someone to backfill.
