Why no Raptors game is meaningless down the stretch

It could be the Bulls, the Nets, the Knicks, the Hornets, the Washington Generals or Harlem Globetrotters or someone plucked from the NCAA’s Sweet Sixteen.

Fred VanVleet, turning the corner on Kris Dunn of the Bulls in December, and the Raptors plan to use the home stretch to put their playoff game plan over the top.

What matters most is that the opponent does something that will demand special attention, and the Raptors will be judged against themselves on their own incremental improvement and success.
