Not only did the city’s heavy winter storm cause slippery driving conditions and school closures in Ontario, it also left two beloved Toronto Raptors stranded in the city.
Raptors Precious Achiuwa and Scottie Barnes were expected to appear in Friday’s NBA All-Star Games’ Rising Stars media availability ahead of the game, but plans were cancelled in the morning due to Toronto’s messy wintery weather.
“Due to weather and travel issues, Precious Achiuwa and Scottie Barnes will not be at Rising Stars practice this morning,” Raptors PR tweeted.
