When it comes to basketball, there is more than just stats, numbers and analytics. But when it comes to fantasy (and the Houston Rockets), that’s all there is to it. There is no such thing as an “eye test” or “intangibles” or “veteran savvy” that come into play when judging the merit of a player.
There are many instances where a player is better or worse in real basketball than fantasy basketball. But fans tend to have a tough time differentiating between the two. One primary example is Toronto Raptors fans. We’ve grown to love certain players mainly for their defense or for making great basketball plays that don’t translate on the stat sheet.
