The Toronto Raptors, like most teams, have 20 players on their training camp roster. A roster which includes 12 guaranteed contracts, five partially-guaranteed deals, and three players who haven’t been promised a thing. By the end of training camp, that 20 will be reduced to just 15, along with 2 two-way deals.
Of the guaranteed contracts, almost all are absolute locks to make the final roster. Technically, there is a minuscule probability of either Matt Thomas or Terrence Davis being bumped. But the odds are low enough, they really aren’t worth considering for our purposes.
Of course, the 15 most talented players don’t always make the roster.
