In totality the Houston Rockets traded away Ryan Anderson and De’Anthony Melton for Brandon Knight and Marquese Chris. In what has become an emerging trend, the deal will save Houston significant money in tax-savings.
Anderson had fallen out of the rotation, but Melton is still a promising piece. An optimist would say Morey is setting himself up for future moves. A pessimist would say Houston is cutting cap at the expense of the team.
