The Toronto Raptors are one of the best teams in the NBA. If they made absolutely no moves at the trade deadline, they’d still be one of the best teams in the NBA. However, a slight upgrade could help Toronto improve on what is already a solid core.
It’s going to be tough for Toronto to make a move this deadline. Masai Ujiri and company will have their work cut out for them as there are many factors working against the Raptors getting a deal done.
For starters, it’s not exactly a buyer’s market right now. 14 of the 15 teams in the Western Conference are buyers (that’s insane) and the 15th team, the Phoenix Suns, have already dealt their most likely trade candidate.
