The Toronto Raptors find themselves in a great position as they attempt to earn the one seed for the first time in franchise history. With only 25 games remaining the Raptors are two games ahead of the Boston Celtics, the only other serious contender for the number one seed.
Just ten games ago the Celtics were the team with the inside track. Since that point, the Raptors have went 9-1, including winning seven consecutively prior to the All-Star contest, while the Celtics have went 5-5.
Earning the number one seed would be a big step forward for Toronto.
