Toronto Raptors: Three games in October critical to team’s success

The Toronto Raptors head into the 2018-19 NBA season with even larger goals than how they finished last year. In 2017-2018 Toronto won 59 games and a first-round playoff series. That won’t be enough this year.

In the offseason, the Raptors not only fired their head coach in 2018 NBA Coach of the Year winner Dwayne Casey but traded away one of the best players in franchise history.

After the Raptors exchanged their former cornerstone DeMar DeRozan for Leonard, they made it clear that are looking to compete for a championship this season. With Kawhi possibly walking at the end of the year, the Raptors chose to risk it all.
