Luis Scola was espousing some truths earlier this week, as any team’s veteran is expected to do.
The Raptors forward pulled himself out of a terrible funk that lasted much longer than he’d wanted, but he had a 21-point outing to his name after Sunday’s loss to the Houston Rockets.
The numbers hadn’t been kind to him in that time, up until Sunday.
“The thing about numbers — the numbers don’t lie,” Scola said. “But there are a lot of numbers. You can watch one part of the numbers, or you can watch another part of the numbers.
