Toronto Raptors sign Jared Sullinger

The Toronto Raptors have started their roster changes in a big way.

According to his own Twitter account, former Boston Celtics forward-centre Jared Sullinger is headed to Toronto.

“We The North #0” Sullinger tweeted Monday afternoon, apparently signaling his move to the Raptors.

Sullinger, who had a qualifying offer from the Celtics rescinded on Sunday to make him an unrestricted free agent, averaged 10.8 points and 8.3 rebounds per game in 73 starts for Boston last season.

The 6-9, 260-pound Sullinger became redundant with the Celtics when they signed Al Horford to a four-year, $133 million free agent contract earlier this month.
