This could be a make or break season coming up for Stanley Johnson. He was selected 8th overall by the Detroit Pistons in 2015. The Toronto Raptors will be Johnson’s third team in his young career after he signed a two-year contract with the Raptors this offseason (the second year is a player option).
Johnson entered the NBA draft after one season at the University of Arizona. As a freshman, Johnson averaged 13.8 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game, while shooting 37.1 percent from three-point range.
Coming out of college, Johnson looked like a can’t miss prospect.
