It didn’t look good early on for the Toronto Raptors. Toronto, playing their third game in four nights, looked sluggish and sloppy as the Utah Jazz took advantage of a bevy of early turnovers to score at will in transition.
During the first quarter, the Raptors turned the ball over seven times, leading to several easy baskets for the Jazz. Utah scored eight points off turnovers in the first quarter alone.
Early on, it felt like the Raptors were just hanging on. The Jazz lead increased to seven or eight at several different points, but every time it did, Toronto managed to claw back into the game.
