It didn’t look great early for the Toronto Raptors against the Brooklyn Nets. Brooklyn came out more focused and with significantly more energy than the Raptors, who seemed to be going through the motions.
Toronto shot just 3-11 from the three-point range and turned the ball over six times in the first quarter. Considering their performance, they were lucky to be down only eight.
During the second quarter, the team started to come alive. The lead exchanged a couple of times before Caris Levert nailed a buzzer beater to give Brooklyn a three point lead heading into the half.
