With a massive deal, the Toronto Raptors made a move to retain their No. 1 overall seed in the Eastern Conference. While everyone was focusing on LeBron’s jump to the Lakers, the Raptors saw an opportunity to punch their ticket to the NBA Finals.
Enter Kawhi Leonard.
The former San Antonio Spurs forward was disgruntled last season, missing the vast majority of it with injuries. He was extremely unhappy with how the Spurs handled his return, so he allegedly sat out.
With a chance to turn over a new leaf in Toronto, it’s time to welcome Kawhi.
