In a March 31st in a game between the Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors, the Celtics were missing Kyrie Irving, Marcus Smart, and seemingly every other guard not named Terry Rozier. Rather than playing G-League talent 40 minutes, Celtics coach Brad Stevens decided to get creative.
The Celtics played BIG. At times the smallest player on the court for the Celtics was 6’6″ Abdel Nader, players like Jayson Tatum and Macus Morris shifted up a position consistently, and at one point coach Stevens elected to play two power forwards and two centers at the same time!
