Heading into the off-season, the Toronto Raptors were expected to be bold in their pursuit of a starting power forward. Though Patrick Patterson still finds himself on the roster, his lack of impact when assigned with a starting role in playoffs proved that the Kentucky alum is best suited to coming off the bench. This conclusion only increased the need for the Raptors to find themselves a 4 who could stretch the floor and add more spacing. DeMar DeRozan’s most valuable skill is driving to the basket, where he’s able to draw contact or finish at the rim.
