The Toronto Raptors and Indiana Pacers are the two surprise teams of the NBA this season. Most predicted the Raptors to place in the four-to-six seed range, while the Pacers were expected to finish near the bottom of the standings.
Here we are, approximately seven months later; the Raptors are on pace for greater than sixty wins, as the Pacers battle for playoff seeding, rather than ping-pong balls.
For Indiana, one large reason for their success has been their ability to win close games. On the season the Pacers are a ridiculous 10-1 in games decided by three-points or less.
