That’s a heartbreaking loss. The Toronto Raptors controlled the game, led most of the game, and were just a few points away from winning the game. Yet, they end up losing Game 1 at the hands of the Milwaukee Bucks.
Midway through the first, the Raptors went on an impressive run. Toronto couldn’t seem to miss from beyond the arc, going 6-13 from deep in the opening quarter. You knew they would cool down at some point, but at the end of one, the Raptors had built themselves an 11-point cushion.
They survived multiple Milwaukee runs during the second quarter, seeming to fight back just as the Bucks gained momentum.
