It’s been almost a year to the day since the Toronto Raptors traded DeMar DeRozan, Jakob Poeltl, and a 2019 first-round pick to the San Antonio Spurs for the services of Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green.
Leonard and Green arrived in Toronto to much fanfare, but many questions. How would Leonard take to being traded to Toronto, when L.A. was seemingly in his sights? Would he be healthy, and most of all, would he even play for the Raptors?
Those answers were answered pretty quickly, it’s safe to say.
