MINNEAPOLIS The ball hadn’t even gone up for the opening tip and an already pesky Patrick Beverley of the Minnesota Timberwolves was trying to goad the Raptors.
He jostled with Gary Trent Jr. for position around the jump-ball circle, Trent did not give an inch and there were technical fouls handed out to both before the game had even started.
Beverley made quite the scene a few minutes later when he was isolated on defence, waving off any help, clapping his hands as he got a low defensive stance and then let Siakam by him for a layup.
