Vince Carter and Prince were in discussions on a project that would have transformed the entertainment landscape in Toronto, according to the Raptors legend.
On the latest episode of his podcast The Vince Carter Show, the retired basketball star recounted a story of the music icon’s surprise visit to Inside, a nightclub that Carter owned in downtown Toronto.
Carter had been talking about how rapper Master P was invited for a tryout with the Raptors in the fall of 1999 before he was cut. Co-host Ros Gold-Onwude asked him whether there were other musicians he thought had some game.
