SAN FRANCISCO—Steve Kerr knows it because he has experienced it and been carried by it, and now he’s watching the Raptors show what being a champion can do for a team.
There is something about a title that changes a team, and Kerr — along with a lot of NBA experts and insiders — marvels at what it’s done for the Raptors.
“I think they’ve carried over the confidence that comes from winning the title,” Kerr said before the Raptors beat the Golden State Warriors 121-113, in not only a rematch of last June’s NBA Finals but the return of Stephen Curry after a 58-game absence.
