Nick Nurse knows how he would like to use the eight games the Raptors will play leading up to the NBA playoffs, and it sounds like a well-scripted exhibition season.
The Raptors head coach plans to use the first two or three to get his entire roster familiar with the speed of NBA games again, with lots of players getting time on the court; the middle three or so would be to fine-tune the rotation and extend the minutes for the players Nurse will rely on in the post-season; and the last couple would be to taper a bit, calm down, try to avoid injury and get some rest for the workhorses.
