Now all the Raptors have to do is figure out how best to use Kyle Lowry.
With the veteran point guard back at practice for the first time this pre-season, and with his nifty new $31-million (U.S.) contract extension signed, it will be up to Nick Nurse, his coaching staff and Lowry to find the right fit for the 33-year-old.
It won’t be the same as last season because the team is different. Kawhi Leonard, a dominant offensive force, is gone home to California. An emerging Pascal Siakam could very well turn into the No. 1 offensive option.
