You can X and O the Raptors’ woes to death these days and every criticism is valid in the moment.
The Raptors can’t find anyone who can consistently make a corner three-pointer, they give up too many easy straight-line drives to opposing ballhandlers, they don’t gang rebound with any regular efficiency, and their rim protection is too often non-existent.
All of those, though, are fixable with a bit more attention to detail, a little extra effort and teamwork.
But there are other aspects of the game that are more serious and more troubling: The Raptors don’t look like they are having any fun playing; heads start to hang and small deficits become insurmountable ones.
