The Raptors did the wise and logical thing at the NBA trade deadline Thursday. Nothing.
Fully willing to let a 37-14 team on a franchise-record 12-game winning streak get healthy and go from there, Raptors president Masai Ujiri and general manager Bobby Webster sat out a mostly uneventful day.
“I think the good part is … we feel like we continue to grow,” Webster said Thursday afternoon. “We haven’t been healthy all year. So I think, where we are now we’d all take, you know, with some improvement.”
It wasn’t that there weren’t any discussions, just none that made sense.
