When it comes time to look back on this so far lamentable pandemic season in Raptorland, fair-weather fans will probably do their best to forget some of the uglier recurring themes.
They’ll do their best to wipe clean the memory of the nights when Toronto’s NBA team got out-free-throwed by a ridiculous margin, only to have head coach Nick Nurse fire some not-so-veiled shots at the officiating. They’ll choose not to linger on the nights Pascal Siakam, fresh from missing another potentially game-saving shot, walked away shaking his head in disbelief at his rough luck in the clutch.
