There is about to be an unease settling over the Raptors that only touches on the periphery of the team’s recent struggles.
It will put the focus intensely on president Masai Ujiri and general manager Bobby Webster as they begin one of the most important weeks of any season: the week leading up to the NBA’s trade deadline.
What they do — or, just as important what they don’t do — will set the course not only for this season but for years to come. And, for the first time in years, there is a question of whether they will deal to improve or deal to reset.
