The Toronto Raptors, still dealing with a number of injuries to key players, took on the Dallas Mavericks who were without their MVP candidate: Luka Doncic. Even without Pascal Siakam, Norman Powell, and Marc Gasol, the Raptors were still riding a four-game win streak but were taking on one of the best road teams in the NBA, with the Mavericks owning an 11-2 record on the road heading into the Sunday afternoon game.
The scoring was slow to start the game, especially for the Mavs who went 0-for-11 thanks to some aggressive defense from the Raptors.
