It’s mystifying in many ways, unexplainable in others, and trying to psychoanalyze the Raptors in their current iteration is an exercise in futility.

When they play with energy and rhythm, they have a chance to win; when they don’t, they lose. Nothing too deep, nothing too X’s and O’s oriented.

Energy and rhythm and will.

The rest, really, is minutia, and whether they can extend their playoff series against the Boston Celtics by winning Wednesday’s Game 6 comes down to mental aspects rather than tactical ones.

“I think a lot of this game, in general, has to do with … energy and rhythm,” coach Nick Nurse said Tuesday.
