Suns 115 – Raptors 103: Q4 fold

Related Topics: Phoenix Suns, Toronto Raptors

The Toronto Raptors couldn’t shake the Phoenix Suns over the first 36 minutes last night at the ACC. A 3-point lead the Raps had created in a shaky first quarter remained in place. Yet in crunch time, the Suns, who should have been setting due to three games in four days, were the team with energy. They closed down Toronto’s offense, scored seemingly at will, and won going away.

The Raptors’ lack of secondary scoring was once again in painful view, as the bench provided a pitiful seven buckets. Phoenix starting blitzing DeMar DeRozan in Q4 even more as a result.
