To say DeMarre Carroll’s career as a Raptor has not gone according to plan is, well, we’re running out of exhausted adjectives to use here. After signing with Toronto last season, Carroll hobbled through a seemingly endless stream of injuries (and one knee surgery), played in a mere 26 regular season games and 20 playoff games, before finally — finally — giving his broken down body a rest. The season took its toll on him.
