Pascal Siakam had to think about it. Which was a harder task, Joel Embiid or Giannis Antetokounmpo? This is a little like asking which killer mountain is harder to climb, K2 or Annapurna, but that comparison is imprecise, really. Because on the most dangerous mountains in the world, most people actually go over the top.
Embiid and Antetokounmpo, though, are nearly impossible to summit, and Siakam, in his first year as a starter, got one and then the other en route to the NBA final. Which one was harder?
“I’ll say Joel because I couldn’t really get into his body as much, because he’s really stronger,” said Siakam, whose Toronto Raptors will face the Golden State Warriors in the NBA final beginning in Toronto on Thursday night.
