Scottie Barnes is a late addition to the Toronto basketball pro-am on Saturday night, joining his Raptors teammate Malachi Flynn, organizers say.
“Confirmed: Scottie Barnes will play in the Ball Don’t Stop Pro Am at Mattamy Athletic Centre at 7 pm in Toronto (tonight),” the Ball Don’t Stop media platform which is organizing the event tweeted late Friday night.
Organizers had been hoping there would be more NBA players participating, after announcing earlier that Flynn would be in the game. That’s in addition to players from Canadian Elite Basketball League, university students and other professionals who compete overseas.
