Scottie Barnes returns and Raptors solve Wizards for share of eighth in East

Nothing had to be said, something had to be done.

And an unlikely group of Raptors did it.

A hybrid fivesome — regular starters O.G. Anunoby and Scottie Barnes with reserves Jeff Dowtin Jr., Chris Boucher and Christian Koloko — sparked a fourth-quarter turnaround that led the Raptors to a 114-104 victory over the Washington Wizards at Scotiabank Arena on Sunday evening.

After the Wizards had buried Toronto under a barrage of third-quarter three-pointers to shave a 21-point Raptor leads to one, coach Nick Nurse rolled the dice a bit with the unusual group to start the fourth.
