Rebuilding Bulls have Raptors GM Bobby Webster on their radar

The ability of the Raptors to construct a consistently successful roster that can compete for a championship is thanks in no small part to astute drafting and player development — and that’s not lost on rival NBA teams.

It’s made general manager Bobby Webster an intriguing candidate to help rebuild at least one other team.

According to multiple reports, the Chicago Bulls are interested in talking to Webster about a job that would give him total say over basketball operations with an organization that hasn’t seen the playoffs in three seasons. The Bulls are expected to ask for permission to interview Webster, Denver GM Arturas Karnisovas, Indiana GM Chad Buchanan and Miami assistant GM Adam Simon for the job of resurrecting the once-great program.
