DeMar DeRozan always seems a bit surprised when it’s pointed out that he has set some kind of Toronto Raptors franchise record or passed some career milestone.
He has a couple more to marvel at now.
DeRozan had one of the best free-throw shooting nights in NBA history Friday, torturing the Portland Trail Blazers with his ability to draw fouls and convert, going 24-for-25 from the line as the Raptors hung on for a 117-115 victory at the Air Canada Centre.
As part of a 38-point night, DeRozan set career highs for free throws attempted and made, made more consecutive free throws in a game than a Raptor ever has and also went passed 9,000 career points.
