There has only been one game played in each series, and already things are getting interesting. Of consuming interest to us, of course, was the happy result of the Raptors-Wizards match. By defeating Washington, Toronto’s team tossed a giant monkey off its back and into the ditch (from which we hope it will never return), thereby winning its first Game One since 2001…against Philly…in a Series we lost in 7, when Vince Carter’s buzzer-beating jumper rimmed out…not that I’m obsessing or anything.
